When it comes to suffering in this world as a Christian. Don’t expect many people to relate to what your experiencing. When you are trying to be fair and everyone else is being dishonest. When you are trying to be kind and they are being cruel. When you are trying to love, they hate and dislike certain people.

When it comes to doing right and what the bible says, don’t expect the world to understand. If you are a believer in the Lord Jesus Christ, you don’t need to expect the non-believers to think and view things the way the bible teaches.

The bible says non-believers are blind in their mind to the things of God. The non-believer is a enemy and alienated in their mind to God. Their minds are hidden from the truth by the prince of the power of the air (Satan).

Ephesians 4:17,18 says,”they live in the Futility of their mind because their understanding is darkened, being alienated from the life of God. They are ignorant to what exist inside of them. Why? Because of the blindness of their hearts.”

To the non-believer nothing is pure. Their mind and their conscience are defiled. Why? Because they are alienated from God. They are strangers to His way of thinking. Sin corrupts their way of thinking about God. Wrong thinking leads to wrong actions. The people of the world will not understand you if you’re a Christian. It is good to remember this before you burden other people with your troubles. Half of them aren’t the least bit interested and the rest are delighted that you’re getting what they think is coming to you.

It is said that people are temperamental; ninety percent temper; ten percent mental. Don’t expect worldly, carnal minded people to understand Christ’s ways.
They are ignorant to God’s ways and Christ saving work on the cross. Romans says it is foolishness to them.

Romans 1:18 – “For the preaching of the cross is to them that perish is foolishness; but unto us who are saved it is the power of God.”

Romans 1:20,21,25 – “Where is the wise? Where is the scribe? Where is the disputer of this world? Hath not God made foolish the wisdom of this world? For after that in the wisdom of God, the world by wisdom knew not God, it pleased God by the foolishness of preaching to save them that believe. Because the foolishness of God is wiser than men; and the weakness of God is stronger then men.”

Expecting the world to agree with God is foolish. If you are born again you should not think the things of God are foolish. Paul said that a spiritual person has learned to think Godly. They have reached the point where they regularly, but not perfectly, appraise and evaluate life from God’s perspective.

You don’t have to wear a sign around your neck announcing to the world that you are spiritual, they will know. When your life is spirit controlled, your actions will be guided to impact others. Getting understanding and input from the world will no longer be necessary.

The unspiritual and immature people cannot make the connection to Godly things. They just live for now. When my children were young they didn’t spend money with the future in mind. Why? Because their maturity level didn’t allow them to see the future. They only saw the now, the immediate.

That is the same way of the world. Don’t expect them to see things as you see it. They are immature and cannot make the connection to Godly things.

Two nuns were driving through the country when they ran out of gas. They walked to a nearby farmhouse for help and the kindly farmer said that they could siphon some of the gas from his tractor. However, they could not find anything in which to carry the gas until the farmer produced a beat up old water pot.

The nuns filled the water pot with gas, walked back to the car and began pouring it in. A passing motorist, hardly believing what he saw stopped
and said, I don’t agree with your religion, but I admire your faith.

Sometimes the world want understand what we are doing. They do not comprehend Godliness. But we know it. Why? Because God is working through us. Read Romans 8:29.

1 Corinthians 2:14-16 says a natural person cannot accept the things
of God, but spiritual the person understands all things. One sure
sign of
a person that is lost or of the world is when they only consider the present. They only care about immediate gratification. They just want what they want when they want it. They never worry about eternal repercussions.

Spiritual people percieve things from divine perspective, not just from the immediate. You also can have that discerning ability. Just ask God to save you and give you His Spirit. Ask Christ to restore your sinful heart and believe in His work.
