It is important to read the Bible every day because it helps your belief in God. It is important to read the Bible daily because it builds a strong relationship between you and God. It refill teach you to fear God and obey Him, (Deuteronomy 17: 19). It will help you succeed in life and be pleasing to God, (Joshua 1:8). Reading the Bible will help you keep a right attitude toward God and others, Deut. 17:20). Reading the Bible will warn you about things that will harm you, (Psalms 19:11).

Many are ignorant of the Bible and what it says. This short illustration of two brothers criticizing one another. They got into a argument. The first said, "I bet you don’t even know the Lord’s prayer. " The second brother said, "What’s that got to do with anything." The first brother repeated, "I bet you don’t even know the Lord’s prayer. " The second brother
said’ "Well of course I do: Now I lay me down to sleep I pray the Lord my soul to keep. If I should die before I wake. I pray the Lord my soul to take. " The first brother said, Oh! Well? I apologize. I really didn’t think you knew it. " Many of us
are the same way when it comes to knowing the Bible.

Reading the Bible is like reading a owner’s instruction manual about yourself. It will tell you all about your human needs and problems and how you are to operate. In the book of Genesis chapter I through Revelation chapter 22. God gives you the foundations and everything for life. It tells you how to live for God and with others. The Bible tells you how to apply the word’ work, and worship.

The Bible guides you through life’s problems, anything and everything in between. It is like a compass that gives direction and guidance if you follow it. It tells you how to behave. It tells you what to eat. It tells you where to put your priorities. The bible’s information on medicine and health alone can help you live a healthy life. The bible is God’s owner’s manual for men and women.

In the front the Bible (Genesis) there is a picture of the product (mankind). Blessings come to anyone from applying God’s Word (the Bible) to their life (Luke 11:28). The Bible is the infallible word of God. It is inerrant. Infallible means without errors, errorless. Inerrant means no deviation, no mistakes. The Bible is the no mistakes without error word of God.

All scripture is inspired by God and is profitable (useful) for doctrine (teaching), for reproof (revealing) for correction (straight mark), for instruction (guidance’) in righteousness, (2 Tim. 3:16). The Bible is God breathed and is useful to teach us what is true. It shows us what is wrong in our lives. It straightens us out and it teaches us to do what is right. It is God’s way of
reaching our hearts and minds preparing us for doing good things through us.

First to get the full benefit of the bible in your life you must be saved. The bible is about Christ Jesus (John 5:39). He is God’s provision to mankind (Luke 24:25-27,44-47). So what are you doing with the Bible’? Are you reading it daily and applying it to your life’?

Why was the Bible written’? The Bible’s purpose of being written is so that you may believe that Jesus is the Christ (Messiah), the Son of God and that believing in Him you will have everlasting life, (John 20:31). The question is are you believing in Jesus? Prayer suggestion: Ask the Lord to help you understand what you read from the Bible? Then ask Him to help you do it.
