A father took his son to his first Major League baseball game when he was four. The game was delayed, so they spent their time talking and eating everything the concession stand had to offer: hot dogs, pretzels, nachos, pizza, soda, peanuts, ice cream and cotton candy.

About a year later, the father asked his son if he’d like to go to another game. The son thought about it for a moment and then replied, “No thanks, Dad. I’m really not that hungry. Is that the way we misinterpret what God does for us?

Is that the way it is most of the time for us? Do we miss the point that God is saying to us through His Word. God says love we hate. We miss the point. God says obey we disobey. We miss the point. God says trust His Son we don’t trust Him. We miss the point.

Are you missing the point of what God wants? Are you missing the point of what God desires? Satan wants you to think that life is about possessions and things. He wants you to focus on the material things you see more then what God’s Word says.

Whether you realize it or not, if you don’t believe God then you are calling Him a liar. Now I know that you would never directly call God a liar. Yet when you disobey Him that is exactly what you are calling Him.

If you have never trusted Christ Jesus as your Savior for your Sins, then you have missed the point of God showing His truth. Don’t miss the point of God reaching out to you. Romans 5:8 says, “But God commends His love toward us in that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.”

Do you believe that Christ died for your Sin? Think about your answer and your response? Is your answer not now or tomorrow? The bible says today and now is the time to make a decision for Christ (Hebrews 2:7,8).

Well, has He died for your Sin? It is easy to simply miss the point and get busy going to church or doing something. Have you settle the issue of your sin and Christ work on the cross for you? If not, perhaps you missed the point of God sending His Son? Examine your self to be sure?

Don’t miss the point like the son and his father going to a Major League baseball
game. God says, “That if you would confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus, and
shall believe in your heart that God has raised Jesus from the dead, you shall be
saved,”
Romans 10:9.

Simply obey the Gospel of Jesus Christ, 2 Thess. 1:8 – “…that did not obey the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ;” 1 Peter 4:17 – “…what shall the end be of them that do not obey the Gospel of God.” Don’t be misled?

A friend and I were talking about God and the proof it takes to have faith. He said, I wish I had more proof that God is going to answer. What God says is proof not what you see. Don’t be misled to think that, Seeing is believing.

God said through 1 Peter 5:6 – “Humble yourselves, therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time.” Humble yourself means bowing and falling down low as you can to God. It’s submitting to God’s holy character letting him change you.

God says when you are humble, then he will exalt you. On a music note if a grand piano fail 40 feet from a building to the ground, What would it be? Answer, B-flat. God will not exalt us until you bow and B-flat, then he will exalt you. Don’t be misled because that is what God is doing in your heart.

God says to us clearly without studdering, listen and don’t miss the point of what He is saying.
